Donors make the Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum possible. A passionate group of community members took the dream of a hands-on, interactive children’s museum and raised enough funds to turn that dream into a reality. We rely on generous contributions from community members like you to keep MMCM viable and vibrant.

Your donation will give children in our community uplifting, memorable experiences

Help children and families make memories by considering one of the following donation types:

  • One-time gift – Click here to donate to MMCM via our PayPal Giving Fund. Every amount helps ensure our museum will remain an educational and inspiring resource in the Great Lakes Bay Region. 100% of your donation will come to MMCM. 
  • Commemorative Plaques –Would you like to commemorate a special day, honor a loved one, or create a lasting legacy at the museum? Our personalized plaques, displayed on two of our majestic kid statues, allow your tribute to shine. One statue, adorned with silver colored “In Honor Of” plaques, inspires celebration, while the other, featuring gold colored “In Memory Of” plaques, offers a heartfelt remembrance. Get yours HERE.
  • Pledge – If you want to donate in installments over time, we will help you set up the payment schedule and remind you when the pledge is due. Monthly or annual pledges are a great way to make a sizeable gift in easy-to-manage pieces. Give us a call at 989-399-6626 to learn more.
  • Matching gifts – Many companies will match donations made by their employees. Ask your employer if they are a matching gift company, and you might be able to double or triple your donation!
  • Long-term giving – If you’re working on a will or estate planning, consider including the museum as a beneficiary. What a great way to leave a legacy! Check with an attorney or tax adviser when making these plans.
  • Endowments – Endowments are funds that earn interest, which the museum can use as a source of reliable, ongoing funding. Your gift is a permanent source of capital that will do good work today and in the future. Our endowments are administered through the Saginaw Community Foundation.
    • Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum Endowment Fund – Support the day-to-day operations of the museum and guarantee that we can maintain our facility, and build and expand galleries and exhibits well into the future!
    • Jane Fowle Endowment Fund – Support summer camp opportunities for kids in our community who might not otherwise be able to attend hands-on, immersive camps.
  • In-Kind – You can help in other non-monetary ways as well! We are always accepting donations of items that are useful to the museum. This includes gently used or new toys, toilet tissue and paper towel rolls, and kids’ art supplies such as crayons, chalk, glue sticks, and much more.
