Hit the brakes and stop by Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum’s 13th Annual Touch-A-Truck on Saturday, September 19th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine! Families and vehicle enthusiasts of all ages are invited to get up close and hands-on with heavy-duty trucks, construction equipment, first responder vehicles, race cars, and more. Kids can climb aboard, explore the bells and whistles, and meet the operators behind these incredible vehicles! Exploring the trucks is FREE, and museum admission is reduced to just $3 per person ages 2 and up, with the museum open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Touch-A-Truck provides an exciting, safe, and inclusive opportunity for children to Play and Learn! Our World: Worldwide Day of Play is part of Nickelodeon’s Our World global initiative to inspire kids and provide them with tools to activate their individual and collective agency.  As part of a network of more than 360 ACM member children’s museums that reach millions of families in North America, and the over 1,450 museums participating in Museums for All, a national access initiative that ACM manages, Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum is a vital collaborator in the Our World: Worldwide Day of Play

Gabby's Dollhouse - MEOWseum Discovery Days

“Hey Gabby, take us to the museum!”
DreamWorks Animation and the Association of Children’s Museums are partnering again for the second year of Gabby’s Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days — a joint commitment to reinforce the magic of imagination and discovery that is “unboxed” with each and every visit to a children’s museum.
DreamWorks and ACM are excited to collaborate with museums across the country to incorporate Gabby and friends, in varying ways by location, into their respective programming and spaces as they seed and nourish a love for exploration.
Come discover the magic of children’s museums! The Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum will enjoy a Gabby’s Dollhouse takeover over the course of two consecutive weekends, September 35th-27th, and October 2nd – 4th, with a variety of Gabby-themed crafts, games, and a photo opportunity. Please note that there will be no Gabby costume character appearing at our location.

Halloween Monster Mix & Mash

Our spookiest event of the year is creeping back into Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum! Join us Saturday, October 31, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Monster Mix & Mash! Grab your little ghosts and goblins, put on your favorite family-friendly costumes, and get ready for a frightfully fun day of Halloween excitement.
Enjoy spooky-themed crafts, and plenty of festive fun throughout the museum. Whether you’re a witch, wizard, superhero, or something altogether monstrous, gather the family and join us for a Halloween celebration that’s sure to be a screaming good time! Trick or Treat!
