During our closure our staff is working hard to make updates and improvements to our museum so that when we reopen, all our galleries and exhibits are in their best shape! Check below to see some of the great updates that have been made so far!
Deep Cleaning and Sanitizing
Maintaining a clean and safe environment has always been a top priority at MMCM. During normal hours, we are closed every Monday for this very reason. During our closure, we’ve taken advantage of the extra time to capitalize on our cleaning. All of our toys, games, and commonly used areas have been scrubbed, scrubbed, and scrubbed some more! Once we reopen, we will continue to ensure all our galleries remain clean and safe for our children and families.
A Fresh Coat of Paint
Our museum walls, doors, classrooms and more have received a fresh coat of paint! Our bright new walls are ready to inspire creativity in all our visitors.
Car Works
Car Works is one of our most popular galleries. The next time you visit us, you’ll notice fresh paint on all our cars! We’re also working to repair the tires and make sure the cars are ready for their next race. The gas pump and other features of this gallery have also seen some special attention.
Water, Water Everywhere
Notice anything different about our water table? The legs are now bright green! We love this refreshed look and hope it inspires you to dive into fun and explore the properties of water.
Try It
The dress up stand in Try It has also received a fresh coat of paint! This fun stand has bright new colors and will be filled with new dress-up clothes once we reopen.

MMCM’s Sweet Tooth
If you’ve ever visited us, you’ll probably recognize this next project! Our famous mouth from the Insides Out Gallery has gotten a whole new set of teeth! They look even better now than they did when this photo was taken in 2017!

At our giant operation table, you get to be the doctor! When you visit us next, you’ll notice a clean new table with a fresh coat of paint that is begging for you to play with it.
